והרי זה ממש מתאים להשיעור. וזהו כעין אמירתם משה אמת ותורתו אמת, הן משה והן התורה, וגם אמת ראשי תיבות אהרן מזוזה תכלת.

9. Are you a cynic, an idealist, or a compromiser?
Something in between, they call it “optimist more than realist”.
What is the alternative to ending up in one of these three traps?
Fascinated insight about letter Hai from this class brings light on challenges we have with realization of anything new.
First, "Hai" right side teaches us what makes any project really successful is “cover from ABOVE”.
Doesn’t Tehillim state the same? Song 121: “…G-d is your Guardian. He is your SHADE at your RIGHT HAND” And then in song # 127 “… If G-d will not build the house, in vain do its builders labor on it…”
Second, right leg is higher and longer then left, because it carries a lot of information, starting from objectives of a project up to well developed plan in details. So, no complains if realization of the project doesn’t meet author’s expectation in full: think about proportions between both legs of letter Hai.
Third, look at the left leg of this letter from three-dimensional perspective. It might be protruding forward or holding back but its flat image will still be aligned with right leg and will still be comprehended as Hai… That means we cannot see exactly what is done, what we has struggled for or suffered from. One can feel smashed with failure, completely destroyed with brute material dictate, but after a while: WOW! Eventually it built up his glory; ultimately it was where her success came from. WYSINWYG!
Here is a short episode, from one of the stories of my favorite writer Igor Guberman about Ephraim ILYIN; righteous gold-digger, he was at the beginning of modern Israel. Once he wanted to start his new very risky project and instead of routinely asking his bankers he turned for advice to the Rebbe. “Look! Rebbe responded, “ G-d has always been with you, you have been successful everywhere. That means you have a good Mazel now too.
But the most important that, even if you will lose and become bankrupt, money, which you are going to invest will remain nowhere but in Israel and G-d is unequivocally interesting in that…” This story captures unpredictable nature of the letter Hai, symbol of life. Eenergy we invest, time we spend, pain we suffer with creation never perished to nowhere, but only transfers from one form into another. Get best you can do from your part and G-d will transfer it into a golden menorah later…
Was Korach a victim?
2) The argument between the sun and the moon on the fourth day of creation(over leadership) realted in talmud Chulin, was that a discussion and not an argument because it does say ki tov on the fourth day?
