Short and to the point. Yes, it's all in attitude. I just can't help wondering WHY Hashem in His great kindness decides to continously test some of us though. I remeber years ago, after losing my parents and in-laws and having a child with great challenges- all by the time I had reached the age of thirty. It was a most unforgettable precious moment when The Rebbe respoded, with a smile on his kind face- "Well you still are lucky. You have a Rebbe that you can turn to and on whom you can unload all your challenges. But what about me- And in the midst of my deep crying we both began to laugh. It is all in our attitude. Thank G-D we can still continue to request the blessings of The Rebbe to fortify us to provide that extra measure of HOPE for that is the essential ingredient in helping us see the budding of the trees, the renewal of life, just at the time of the birthday, the actual date of the yahrzeit for my Mother, the eternal reawakening of nature with a heightened awareness of the inherent beauty of life. From Adam's idealistic existence to the nightmare of the Holocaust, let us hope we all find and maintain a positive attitude in our own world. Best wishes for a happy kosher Pessach.
Today's sefirat HaOmer is supposed to express how bonding with someone is an essential ingredient in discipline and growth. The bonding with Chabad Lubavitch is the essential to the Chesed, Hope, Shimchat, and discipline and growth of my life. Todah.
